Composition Lessons

Composition lessons introduce the structure of a musical piece, form elements (introduction, exposition, development, recapitulation, coda), and means of expression. Participants learn harmony, polyphony (counterpoint), instrumentation, and principles of musical form, and during creative classes realize their ideas – create melodies, rhythms, timbres, and musical styles. Classes develop musicality, creativity, and the ability to analyze and interpret music.
