Flute

In flute (longitudinal or transverse) playing lessons, one learns correct posture, deep breathing technique (diaphragm control), note reading, sense of rhythm, and interpretation of pieces. Participants develop fine motor skills, finger coordination, musical hearing, the ability to focus attention, and stage confidence. Lessons develop patience, discipline, creativity, strengthen lung function, and provide an opportunity to create a clear, expressive melodic sound both solo and in an ensemble.
