Traditional Songs and Melodies

In traditional songs and melodies lessons, one learns to get to know the Lithuanian musical heritage through lyrical songs, lively dance rhythms, and the sound of folk instruments – kanklės, skudučiai, birbynės. Participants develop musical hearing, sense of rhythm, understand the structure and manner of folk songs, and explore historical music sources, including the collections of Liudvikas Rėza. Classes encourage creativity, musicality, and deepen the connection with Lithuanian folklore.
