Folk Ensembles

In folk ensemble lessons, one learns to play authentic instruments – kanklės, birbynės, skudučiai, violin, drums – and perform folk songs and dances in an ensemble. Participants develop ethnic culture, musical hearing, sense of rhythm, technique, and ensemble playing skills, also strengthen the ability to work in a team. Classes encourage creativity, self-confidence, and deepen understanding of Lithuanian musical heritage.
