Ethnic and Folk Dances

In ethnic and folk dance classes, one gets acquainted with the dance traditions of various world nations, their cultural significance, and movement expression. Participants learn authentic, tradition-based movements, rhythmics, and group dance elements, developing coordination, musicality, and overall body expression. During classes, a sense of rhythm, stage confidence, and the ability to work in a team are developed, often performing synchronous or community dances. Great attention is given to cultural knowledge, dance history, and the emotions and symbolism it conveys. The classes encourage interest in traditions, diversity of movement, and allow experiencing dance as a living part of culture, connecting people through time and different countries.
